While HydraFacial is safe for most clients, the treatment is not recommended in the following cases:
Active skin infections: Viral, bacterial or fungal on the treatment area
Localized skin issues: Open wounds, cuts, or unhealed lesions in the treatment area
Severe acne conditions: Severe inflammatory acne or active cystic acne
Active herpes simples: Cold sores or herpes outbreaks in the treatment area
Malignant neoplasms: Presence of suspected or diagnosed skin cancer or malignant lesions
Recent resurfacing procedures: Recent chemical peels or aggressive skin resurfacing treatments
Chronic Skin Conditions: Severe rosacea or eczema during an active flare-up stage
Allergic reactions: Known allergies to HydraFacial serums or treatment ingredients
Recent Isotretinoin use: Accutane usage within the past 6 months unless medically approved
Compromised skin barrier: Sunburned, highly irritated, or severely sensitized skin
Cardiovascular conditions: Serious heart or vascular diseases requiring medical clearance
Medications: Blood thinners or oral steroids that may increase bruising or delayed healing
Health Conditions: Uncontrolled diabetes, high blood pressure, or history of seizures (epilepsy) requiring medical clearance
